Take a break after the craziness of the holidays to pause and reflect on what makes women unique, special, important, and loved.
Magnify: Pursuing Virtue as a Feminine Genius is a weekend retreat for women of St. Matthew Parish that offers time for prayer, reflection, relaxation, and inspiration at the beautiful Maria Stein Retreat Center in Western Ohio.
The weekend is being planned and led by a team of women from the parish, who will guide us in reflection on the four characteristics of the feminine genius from St. John Paul II’s Mulieris Dignitatem: receptivity, sensitivity, generosity, and maternity. Additionally, Fr. Carter will join us for Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, and Confession.
With inspiration from various saints, we will contemplate a series of virtues that can help us make a gift of self to our family, our church, and our community.
