The Five Pillars of Totus Tuus, aka, What's this all about?
Totus Tuus is a summer program for students entering grades 1-12! Children and teens can expect a week of games, skits, prayer, music, silliness, and community. (The teen program is run separately from the grade school program and has more of a youth group vibe than a VBS vibe.) Both programs focus specifically on 5 pillars:
1. The Eucharist
It's the "source and summit" of Catholic life, after all!
2. Marian Devotion
If you want to get close to Jesus, you should also get close to his Mom.
3. Catechesis
We want our kids to live our faith, right? They can't live what they don't know, so they'll spend sometime learning about the Catholic faith. Don't worry - it won't be like school!
4. Christian Vocations
Discerning your vocation means learning how to be open to where God calls us. Doing this is a life-long process!
5. Fun!
We mean, it is summer after all! Be prepared for silly skits, water fights, Totus Tuus Olympics, and more!

Sunday-Thursday, June 25-29, 7 pm to 9 pm (includes a Clippers game Thursday night)

We know that there's a big difference between a 1st grader and a 6th grader! Groups will be formed based on age. Generally, the groups will be 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, and 5th and 6th grade.

While the actual daily schedule may vary, here's a sample of what a day could look like. (And don't be scared by "class period" - your children will be learning, but it won't be like school!)
In addition to the schedule below, we'll be having a Parish Potluck Dinner on Wednesday for families and parishioners of all ages!

The Teen Program is for teenagers going into the 7th grade through 12th grade. It runs from Sunday evening to Thursday evening from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The goal of this program is to encounter the youth with solid catechesis through witness and evangelization immersed in the Catholic understanding of prayer and worship, especially in Adoration/Eucharist and Reconciliation being made available. The program involves witness talks, games/skits, catechesis, and small group discussions. The end of every evening involves Night Prayer together inside the Church in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. At the end, of the week on Thursday night, we'll attend a Clippers game together!

Children in the Grades 1-6 program will need to pack a lunch each day. We will provide snacks and water throughout the day. We'll also provide snacks and drinks for teens.

We want to make this week available to anyone who wants to attend. We are asking for $10 per child/teen with a $25 family max, but if that would prevent your child from attending, please let us know! Every problem has a solution.
