About the Musical
All children in the parish entering 1st-8th grades are invited to participate in our first ever St. Matthew Summer Children's Musical! The musical, Not Your Average Joe, tells the story of Joseph of Egypt through a beach movie theme. 4th-8th graders are invited to audition for the main parts, but all children who want to participate will be in the musical (either as cast or crew). Auditions will be mid-May and rehearsals will be once a week on Saturdays or Sundays (schedule TBD) during the summer. The cost to participate will be $10. We will contact you about payment options soon.

About the Director
Hi! My name is Megan Gifford and have been a parishioner at St. Matthew for a little over two years. I am a rising sophomore at the Ohio State University studying early childhood education. I recently joined the Catholic Church in 2019 and have had a zeal to encourage young people in their faith ever since. Growing up I participated in children’s musicals and I am excited to be the director of the St. Matthew Summer Children’s Musical.
