Eligibility

Boys and Girls, grades 6-8 only

Student must be enrolled in one of the following:
– St. Matthew School
– St. Matthew Parish
– School of the Resurrection Parish

Cost

$75 + greens fees at each match or practice. Range balls and golf shirt are included in the price.

Registration

Registration is May 1 - June 30.

Teams

The teams are a combination of all 6^th thru 8^th graders; the teams are co-ed

Practices

Practices are typically during the week and prior to matches starting. Practices can be a full round of golf or just the practice range.

Uniforms and Equipment

A golf shirt will be provided by St. Matthew. Golf shorts or pants are acceptable. Players are expected to provide equipment.

Matches

Matches are typically during the week, Monday-Thursday. They are held in the mornings during summer break, then in the afternoons when school is in session.

Location

Matches are played at central Ohio golf courses. St. Matthew considers Gahanna Municipal, Airport, and Blacklick Woods golf courses as “home” courses. Blacklick Woods range facility will be used frequently.

Tournaments

The season ends with an 18-hole tournament at a central-Ohio course. Each school can bring a maximum of 6 golfers.
