Is Online Giving secure?
Absolutely. Our Online Giving website is specific to our parish and is managed by Our Sunday Visitor, who also handles our traditional monthly envelopes. Click HERE to read more about how they keep your information safe.
Why haven't I had any withdrawals since December?
We eliminated our old ECO program on December 31, 2020. While we sent several letters and emails about this to donors, we know that things get lost in the shuffle, so don't feel bad if you didn't realize the change was happening! We hope that everyone who used to use ECO will switch to Online Giving.
Will I still receive envelopes if I sign up for Online Giving?
No (unless you request to continue them). One of the ways Online Giving saves the parish money is by reducing the costs associated with printing and sending envelopes. If you would like to continue receiving envelopes, however, we're happy to send them to you. Just send us an email at giving@stmatthew.net, and we'll make sure you keep receiving them.
Is there a fee associated with Online Giving?
No. There is no processing fee for transactions through a checking account. The parish will be charged a processing fee for credit card transactions (including check cards), and you will be given the option of increasing your donation by $3 to offset those costs, but the offset is entirely up to you and not required.
How do I know that my donations will be connected with my envelope number so that I will see them on my year-end statement?
We have a record of everyone's envelope numbers, and when we receive notice that you have set up an account, we will make sure that your Online Giving account is tagged to your envelope number.
Can I donate via Online Giving without setting up an account?
Yes! Just click on the fund to which you'd like to donate. If you don't have an account, you'll be prompted to enter payment information.
How can I keep track of my donations?
Once you set up an account, you can view all of your planned and completed donations, and, if you set up any donations as recurring, you can see what your year-to-date total is, as well. You will also get an email reminder and email confirmation before and after your transactions are completed.
I like to donate for some (but not all) special envelope collections. Can I still do that through Online Giving?
Yes! We have all the special envelopes for the year listed in advance on the donation page. If you'd like to set up a Christmas donation in May, you can do that. You are free to pick and choose where and when you'd like to donate.

Don't worry. :) On the main log in page, you can click "Forgot Password" to retrieve your password. Your username is simply the email that you used to set up the account.
