Join us for a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, March 4, at 6 pm in the school cafeteria!
In the Middle Ages in England, the Lenten fast involved giving up not just meat but also dairy products like eggs and butter. The custom arose of having a pancake supper to use up these items and enjoying one last community feast before the Lenten fast.We'll be serving pancakes and sausage at our supper, with toppings including syrup, chocolate, sprinkles, and more! We will also host games for kids, including pancake races and a pancake flipping contest.To ensure that we have enough food, we ask that you click here to RSVP.We also need volunteers to make this event a success!
