Divine Mercy Sunday

Divine Mercy Sunday is celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter.  In her diary, St. Faustina relates that Jesus asked that the faithful venerate the Divine Mercy Image so that all may know of His Mercy. St. Matthew is celebrating the Feast of Divine Mercy with the following:

2pm- Confessions
3pm- Holy Hour with Exposition, Chaplet of Divine Mercy and reflection by Deacon Dave Johnstone

To receive a plenary indulgence-

• Come to Jesus with a humble and contrite heart, repent of all your sins.
• Firmly trust in Divine Mercy.
• Go to confession on that day if possible, or 20 days before or after the Feast.
• Receive Holy Communion.
• Venerate the image of Divine Mercy.
• Be Merciful as God is merciful. Practicing the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.
